Kokotree is the #1 educational app for kids. We’re a new early childhood development platform and educational streaming service. We offer high-quality educational videos for toddlers and preschoolers. Kokotree’s mission is to help children become lifelong learners.
Kokotree is looking for a creative and experienced Video Editor to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing and motion graphics, with experience in creating marketing content for social media and digital platforms. You should be able to work independently, take direction well, and be able to manage deadlines. The Video Editor will report to the Marketing Director.
Responsibilities
- Edit videos for Kokotree’s social media channels, website, and other digital platforms
- Create engaging and visually stunning motion graphics to accompany videos
- Work with the marketing team to concept and develop video content that aligns with Kokotree’s brand
- Entire production life-cycle, from idea to storyboarding to implementation
- Ensure all videos are edited to the highest standard and meet deadlines
- Stay up to date on current video trends and best practices
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphics
- Proficient in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Understanding of devices, frame rates, codecs, file formats, and cameras
